Anneliese LaTempa found her passion in aerial arts upon moving to Baltimore, MD. A former healthcare project manager turned personal trainer, Anneliese manages Urban Evolution Baltimore - a ninja training facility owned with her fiance Adam McConnell - where she also teaches aerial acrobatics to children and adults. In the past, Anneliese has collaborated with existing aerial companies in the Baltimore area to participate in local events, festivals, and shows. Coming from a background of modeling and theatre in her youth, performing aerial acrobatics was a natural fit. Anneliese looks forward to continue working with long-term acrobatic partner Andrea Shorter to produce original art to raise money for local charities and schools.

Andrea Shorter is an aerialist who, upon taking her first aerial fabrics class in 2013, has avidly kept up with training, continually improving and learning in order to create fluid performances encompassing an array of both dynamic and static movements. She has a dance background featuring formal training in contemporary ballet, tap, hip-hop, jazz, and modern dance. In addition to continued aerial training, Andrea has also taken up formal contortion training, learning to utilize all her muscles and flexibility for a variety of skills. She openly embraces the possibility of collaborations with other artists, both in like niches and unique ones in order to provide unique, new experiences. Alongside her acrobatic partner Anneliese LaTempa, Andrea hopes to use their creativity and skillset in order raise money and awareness for a myriad of positive causes, including afterschool programs for Inner City youths and local charities. Prior to co-founding Femella, she collaborated with other aerial artists and companies in a variety of settings. Outside the world of aerial acrobatics, Andrea has earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and is currently working towards her Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology.
